Kelly:
I’m in a total slump. Last week, the antique store where I work closed, which means I’m out of a job. And this week, my parents are off on their second honeymoon leaving me alone for Thanksgiving. When my cousin, Fern, invites me to come spend the holiday with her at Lancaster Ranch, I can’t think of a reason to say no.

And it’s a good thing I didn’t. Otherwise, I never would have met Austin. He’s a tall drink of water if I’ve ever seen one with the looks and charms of a Disney prince but the rugged persona of a cowboy, he’s the whole package. But it’s a little complicated with Austin. Especially because his dad is currently suing my cousin and her husband.

Austin:
My last name might be Lancaster, but I’ve never set foot on the family ranch until now. After my grandpa had a falling out with his brother, he packed his bags and left everything behind. But now, it’s up to me to take care of some unfinished business. Even if my second-cousin might want to throttle me.

But meeting Kelly changes things. I’m instantly drawn to her, and in her I feel a connection that goes deeper than physical. Will we have a chance to see where this goes? Or will my family’s past keep us apart?
