As our head of security, it’s my job to secure the weyr from all incursions – but somehow, this slip of a man got through all our defenses and into the very heart of our land.
He says he’s here to help. Sent by a god. A prophet to aid us in an impending apocalypse. And worse, he has some of our people already believing him.
I don’t trust him. His past is shrouded in mystery, and his magical abilities make this old dragon snarl in my scales. I plan to treat him like any other threat – by keeping him under lock and key.
Now if only I could hold back the lust that overwhelms me every time I look at him…
