After Our First Date by Faith Walsh

Maggie:
Honestly, I don’t have time for dating—certainly not blind dates! I’m single-handedly running the only real estate agency on the island and trying not to lose my mind. I’ve only agreed to the stupid date to appease my neighbor, Pearl, who seems to think it’s her life’s work to find me a mate. But then, Sam Middleton. *Sigh* I’m in love. Too bad the date is a fiasco and I’m sure I’ll never hear from him again.

Sam:
I’m not back on the island a week before I’m wrangled into a blind date. I’m looking to put Fortitude behind me, not put down roots. But then I see her, Maggie Sutton, and I change my tune. Yeah, I’ll take that date, and whatever else she wants to give. I can’t decide if the night is a horror or a comedy of errors, and I’m not sure she hasn’t purposefully sabotaged the date. But I’m willing to hang around a bit longer and find out what the truth is.
