Kidnapped from Earth then rescued only to be told we can’t return home.

The other women and I who were taken from the slaver ships are given a choice–stay and serve the galactic council as protected serfs or take our chances on an uncharted island on an uninhabited planet with a group of rough-looking aliens, all of whom just happen to be male.
Not looking to escape one servitude for another, I choose the island. I’m even appointed leader of the group, which is great until I find out I’m sharing the responsibility with a rude, nearly seven foot tall green dude with horns.
