Life on the top can be pretty boring. It’s lonely to be at the top of the world and have everything going for you. Chance Bradford was no different, but the fame seemed to isolate him from the world. It was a problem he solved by sneaking away from the life, renting a car and sneaking into the local farmer’s market.

It was there that he saw someone destined to change his life. An artist that had stayed true to his own art. It made Chance feel even worse about selling out. But there wasn’t much he could do about it. He was under contract.

Still, Devlin seemed to pull him into the orbit of this minor artist barely surviving through his artistic endeavors. All Chance wanted to do was spend more time with the man.

Could he ever have something with Devlin? The man seemed to be so happy with his life, and making time together was hard. They were destined for months apart before scavenging a few days of bliss, then right back to painful separation. It was a life Chance had signed up for, but not something anyone deserved to have forced on them. But, being with Chance meant Devlin must live with that life too.
