A Call for the Heart by Sam Baker

I was struggling in my acting career. This month, I was not able to make my child support payment, let alone my mortgage. I found the best job I could. I became a driver and front desk operator at a brothel called Club Jade. Club Jade was located on the outskirts of Los Angeles, on the county line where prostitution was legal.
I worked the gay side of the brothel, assisting customers, and helping the prostitutes land the deal with a John. I was earning money, doing a half-way honest job when I saw him.
